MY Compliance Management Beach Clean March 24th 2023

**POSTPONED - WE WILL BE PLANNING A DATE IN APRIL FOR THIS BEACH CLEAN**

To be planned -  we will be picking up litter on these 3 beaches in Cornwall - Fistral, Newquay Harbour and Towan.

Come and help us to clean up the environment. As a company MY Compliance Management are taking on the challenge of cleaning 3 beaches in 3 hours.

We are asking any of our customers to join us in making the environment around us cleaner and do our bit to reduce plastic waste and other harmful items from getting into the sea. 

Not only is it great for the environment but imagine that great feeling knowing you have helped. 

Litter pickers, bags and gloves provided.

Our meeting point will be on Esplanade road at 2pm. We will walk along Fistral beach followed by the harbour and then onto Towan beach the aim is to be finished at 5pm.

Positive benefits of cleaning up our beaches

• Thousands of marine animals worldwide have been affected by plastic pollution, including sea turtles, seabirds, and marine mammals. Therefore, Beach clean-ups are vital to mitigate the problem caused by ocean debris and the danger that plastic pollution poses to marine life.
• 55% drop in plastic bags found on UK beaches since 5p charge was introduced. 
• During the Great British Beach Clean Up in September 2021, an average of 388 items of litter were found per 100 meters of beach in England.
